BHF
In keeping with the excitement of our 10th anniversary of the Breeders Halter Futurity, we have been busy working on some new innovative ideas. It is with great pride that we present these classes at our 2020 Breeders Halter Futurity.
YEARLING LONGE LINE
We will be offering our first performance class at our 2020 event: Yearling Longe Line. This class will have a purse of $25,000, which was generously donated by Headley Quarter Horses. All nominated yearlings will be eligible to participate in this class. If you have a 2019 weanling that was not nominated, please contact the BHF office. We are going to make a one-time exception and allow these horses to pay the 2019 nomination fee now, and the 2020 nomination fee, making these horses eligible for the 2020 Yearling Longe Line Class only. Foals sired by all BHF Stallions – Amateur, Open and Color Division – are eligible for this class.
MARE POWER PROGRAM
The BHF is proud to announce the Mare Power Program. This program will involve the enrollment of your mare by March 1, 2020, which will make your 2020 foal (s) sired by BHF Stallions eligible for the Mare Power Weanling Classes. Foals sired by all BHF Stallions – Amateur, Open and Color Division — are eligible for this program. We will offer two classes: Mare Power Weanling Colts and Geldings and Mare Power Weanling Fillies. Each class will have a purse of $50,000. The fee to enroll your mare is $350 with all of her 2020 foals being eligible to show.
